Slow Down Alzheimer’s

I found an interesting article that discusses walking and Alzheimer’s Disease by Alan Mozes in Bloomberg Businessweek. It points out that regular walking of around 5 miles a week can slow down the disease in people diagnosed with Alzheimer’s or Mild Cognitive Impairment.

An estimated 2.4 million to 5.1 million people in the United States are estimated to have Alzheimer’s disease, which causes a devastating, irreversible decline in memory and reasoning, according to National Institute on Aging.
